Water Closet Partitions
- Honeycomb panel systems for water closets per NAVSEA drawings
- Fabricated to allow quick, easy installation All Whiting honeycomb water closet partition panels are furnished complete with specific finish and edge closeouts.
- Fabricated from a variety of materials including Nomex, aluminum or stainless steel cores
- Skin materials include stainless steel, aluminum or laminate over aluminum/stainless or prepregs
- Edge closeouts per customer request
False Deck Panels
Manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing #803-6397481 as follows:
- False deck panels sizes are typically .550" X 48" X 96" or .550" x 48" x 101"
- Constructed of 3/16" cell 6.0 lb. density DuPont Nomex™ honeycomb
- 20 mil 7642 fiberglass composite substrate impregnated with 50% by weight fire retardant phenolic resin, MIL-A-25463.
- Faced with customer specified decorative finish using Wilsonart SR-605, NEMA type FR-50. Colors include: Cloud Nebula, Blue/Gray Matrex & Titanium
- Laminate is co-bonded directly to GRP sheets on both faces of the panel
False Deck Tile Systems
- New design currently used on LPD ships
- Smaller panels are lightweight, easy to replace, and quick to install
- Made with the same materials as a standard false deck panel with an added solid phenolic edge trim around the perimeter
- Panels are cut to the customer specified sizes
- Edges are machined with step on either side, which fits into a raised aluminum tracking system on the ship deck
Navy Shower Partitions
- Manufactured per NAVSEA Dwg #505-7101179
- Fabricated from a variety of materials including Nomex, aluminum or stainless steel cores
- Skin materials of stainless steel, alum or laminate over aluminum/stainless or prepregs
- Edge closeouts per customer request
Navy Bulkhead Panels
- Honeycomb core panels for a variety of ship applications
- 3/8" cell aluminum 5052 alloy or 3/16" cell Nomex cores
- Adhesive per Mil-A-25463, Class-1, Type-1
- Common skins include: Anodized aluminum, 4 ply GRP, 2 Ply GRP w/ High Pressure Laminates, or Painted Baked Enamel
- Other finishes available per customers request
Coast Guard Bulkhead Panels
- Manufactured per NAVSEA Dwg #804-4623540
- 3/8" cell aluminum 5052 alloy honeycomb core
- Adhesive per Mil-A-25463, Class-1, Type-1
- Anodized aluminum skins, other finishes available per customer request
Bulkhead Panel Shapes
- Typically for standard 5/8" thick panels
- Common types include: H-Post, Cap Channels, End Caps, Door Headers, etc.
- Common materials: stainless steel, aluminum , and steel
- Finishes: Painted per customer request or #4 finish for stainless parts
