Panel Composition
- Facing material provides strength and prevents panels from flexing
- Cold or hot press adhesion process bonds facing material to core
- Lightweight core materials resist torque and provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio
Honeycomb panels are rigid and torque-resistant due to the tubular structure of each individual honeycomb cell. This structure reinforces the entire surface area of the panel at a consistent rate and prevents the panel from flexing.
